How to Upload Existing Photos (Mobile)

    1. Open the SiteCam app on your iOS or Android device and choose a project.

    2. Tap the Camera button.

    3. Tap on the Import icon at the bottom right of the screen.

    4. ⁠⁠⁠Select the photo(s) you want to import, then tap the ✔️ (or Add) button.

    5. ⁠Next, decide whether you want your photos to be Grouped or Ungrouped. (Note: The Grouped/Ungrouped photo toggle will only be visible if you select multiple photos)

    Grouping photos will save all photos into the same Capture Group with shared details.
    Ungrouping photos will save photos as individual captures.

    Tap OK to continue.

    6. Enter a Description if needed.

    Tip: For Ungrouped photos, descriptions can be entered by first selecting the photo thumbnail. Each photo can have a unique description.

    7. Next, specify a Record Type.

    Tip: Each Record Type has a color that is linked to the pin color to help identify your Record Types on the plan.

    8. Select a folder to save the photo to. If you select a folder that has a plan attached to it, you can enable the Pin to plan toggle to show the plan. Drag the pin icon on the plan to specify where the photo was captured.

    Tip: You can zoom in or out of the plan/map by using two fingers to pinch on it. To enlarge the plan/map, tap on the maximize icon.

    9. Finally, add some Tags. Tap the Save button to complete the capturing process. Leave SiteCam open until uploads have completed.
